SMS/Text Messaging — No Sharing:

Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent collected for text messaging are never shared with, sold to, or used by any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes. This includes our sister and affiliated companies. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party for any purpose other than delivering the messaging service you requested. We may share your mobile number only with service providers (such as our messaging platform) solely to the extent necessary to deliver those messages.

5. SMS/Text Messaging Opt-In Details

When you opt in to receive text messages from Altus Property Partners, LLC, we collect your mobile phone number and your explicit consent. We use this information solely to send account and service messages, including:

• Rent and assessment payment reminders
• Maintenance request status updates
• Resident portal setup instructions
• Lease renewal and important account notices
• Property-related service notifications

This is not a marketing or promotional SMS program.

How we collect opt-in consent: Via the web opt-in form at altuspropertypartners.com/sms, or during resident account setup in the Buildium resident portal.

Message frequency: Varies based on account activity (typically 1–4 messages per month).

To opt out: Reply STOP to any text message at any time. You will receive one confirmation message and then no further messages.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy and to comply with applicable legal obligations. For active management clients, records are retained for a minimum of seven (7) years following the end of the management relationship, consistent with Illinois recordkeeping requirements. SMS opt-in records are retained for a minimum of four (4) years to comply with TCPA and carrier requirements.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to improve functionality and analyze site traffic. We use:
